FTP Accounts in Shared Web Hosting
Each of the shared web hosting packages offered by our company will allow you to set up unlimited FTP accounts, so you’ll be able to manage the content of your sites separately or to provide other persons with access to any site in your web hosting account. If you have a web design software program installed on your PC, you’ll be able to manage multiple websites at the same time and to keep them updated with ease. If you give the login information to another person to do a certain task, you’ll be able to update the password for that FTP account or to delete it completely with only a couple of clicks of the mouse and avoid any risk of unsolicited access to your web content in the future. For your convenience, all FTP accounts that you create will be displayed in alphabetical order in the corresponding section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel.
FTP Accounts in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Our Linux semi-dedicated hosting are amazingly powerful, which makes them excellent for hosting multiple sites. Speaking of which, we’ve chosen not to set a limit on the number of FTP accounts that you can set up, so you can have a separate FTP account for each site that you host on our servers. All FTP accounts will be shown alphabetically in the respective section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, which is included with each and every semi-dedicated account. For each of them, you’ll be able to check the access path and to change it, if needed. Furthermore, you can set up the account in your favorite FTP client by downloading an auto-configuration file and running it on your PC, which will save you time. If you have never used a hosting account previously, you can check out our comprehensive how-to videos, which can be accessed through the same section of the Control Panel.
FTP Accounts in VPS
None of the Linux VPS that we are offering includes a cap on the total number of FTP accounts that you can manage at any moment, so you can set up an FTP account for each site hosted on the Virtual Private Server, regardless of whether it’s under a domain or sub-domain. It also doesn’t matter which Control Panel you will select when you join – cPanel, DirectAdmin or Hepsia, as an FTP server will be set up on your virtual machine during the installation of any of them. If you want different persons to be able to set up a connection to the exact same folder using their very own set of sign-in details, for example, it’ll take a few mouse clicks to create a separate FTP account for each one of them. Removing an active account or modifying the folder that it can access is just as easy and you won’t have to deal with any problem, even if you lack past experience in such matters.
